Product & Routine
Which size does my pet need?
Small: approx. 0.85 US gal (108 US fl oz, 3.2 L). Large: approx. 1.85 US gal (237 US fl oz, 7 L), 11 in (28 cm) wide and 8.3 in (21 cm) tall including the spout. Choose Large for bigger dogs or homes with more than one pet. Capacities are rounded.
What is it made of?
Both sizes have a stainless-steel body and drinking surface, with a round water-level window on the front.
How is it powered?
Small: a rechargeable battery charged by 5V USB, with an automatic motion-sensor mode. Large: an electric pump; we are confirming its exact power connection with our supplier. Email support@littlepawfolk.com if you need that detail before ordering.
Is setup easy?
Yes. Follow the instructions in the box: fit the filter, fill with fresh water to the level shown, and switch on. For the Large fountain, soak the carbon filter in clean water for five minutes first and keep at least one inch of water above the pump.
How often should I clean it?
Every two to four weeks, take the fountain apart and wash it with soap and water. Keep soap out of the filter, because it will not rinse out, and never let the pump run dry.
Will my pet drink more?
Some pets clearly prefer moving water and others don't mind either way. A study of cats found no single bowl type worked best for every cat, so we don't promise your pet will drink more. What the fountain does is keep fresh, filtered water moving and make it easy for you to see when it needs topping up.
Can a fountain help with kidney or urinary health?
A fountain does not treat, cure or prevent any condition. If your vet has asked you to encourage your pet to drink, keeping fresh water available in more than one spot is one practical step, and a fountain is one way to do that. Always follow your vet's advice for your pet.
What if my pet doesn't use it?
Some pets take to a fountain quickly and others need time. Place it where your pet already drinks or rests, keep their usual bowl available at first, and let them investigate at their own pace. You can also return it within 30 days.

How many filters are included?
Small: the fountain comes with 6 filters, included free. Large: we are confirming the number of filters in the box with our supplier and will list it here once verified. Replace filters on the schedule in your fountain's guide.
Shipping
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days. The Paw Fountain ships from an overseas supplier with free tracked shipping to US addresses, normally 8 to 16 business days in transit after dispatch. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

30-day free returns
Not the right fit? Request a return within 30 calendar days of delivery and we cover the return shipping for Paw Fountain orders. The fountain should be complete, with its parts and packaging. Email us first so we can send return instructions, and we refund once it arrives.

What does the 6-month guarantee cover?
If your Paw Fountain stops working because of a defect within 6 months of delivery, email us with your order number and a short video of the issue, and we will replace it or refund it. The guarantee covers faults under normal use. It does not cover accidental damage, running the pump dry, or filters, which are replaced as part of normal care.
What if it arrives damaged?
Contact us within seven calendar days of delivery with photos or video of the product, packaging and shipping label, and we will arrange a replacement or a full refund.
